I am a national board certified licensed
acupuncturist. I earned a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese
Medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and received
distinction as a Diplomate in Acupuncture from the National
Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
I hold an advanced clinical training certificate in acupuncture from
Guangzhou University Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital in Guangzhou,
China. This TCM hospital services one of China’s largest cities, with a
patient load of 6,000 people per week.
Through my experience as both a patient and as a practitioner, I have

George McDermott
George McDermott of The Creative Life Institute has studied human
consciousness, taught and practiced yoga, and meditation for over 40
years.
He has traveled to China to study with one of the most advanced Qi Gong
masters alive today. There he received a direct transmission of this
once secret teaching that has been passed down by high-level Qigong
masters for thousands of years in China. He has been teaching this
unique Qigong practice to others since 1997.
In 1999 he received a certificate in Esoteric Acupuncture under the
direction of Mikio Sankey Ph.D L.Ac. Studies included Gateway to

His practice today combines the modern research of Dr. David Hawkins
MD., Ph.D , an experienced clinician, scientist, and mystic, with the

He is also a registered architect developing, designing, evaluating,
planning, and implementing large scale, urban and suburban redevelopment
projects. He is a leader in adapting and integrating traditional land
planning and architectural design with the remediation and development
of Brownfield sites. In the process he has become a nationally
recognized Brownfield expert. During his career he has successfully
managed all phases of over $2 billion of design, construction, and
development projects both nationally and internationally.
